A Stampede happened in Tirupati leading to 6 people to die and several people injured

This stampede happened on Wednesday in Tirupati Temple in Andhra Pradesh When 4000 devotees lined up for collecting tickets for a special darshan of Lord Venkateshwara Swamy , This led to stampede that leads to dying of 6 people and several people getting injured
Currently there is an event going on in temple known as 10-day special Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanam, So the devotees across the globe came to take the tokens attend the event according to the devasthanam guidelines there should be an ambulance near token center but “the ambulance reached the spot after 15-20 minutes of this tragic event happened” sources said

TTD Board Member on Tirupati Stampede
The Tirupati board member Bhanu Prakesh Reddy said to the reporter ” Total 91 counters are opened from Thursday morning itself, Unfortunately 6 people died in this stampede and 40 people got injured but they are getting best medical facilities, This is the first time in TTD’s history this incident happened we sincerely apologies to the devotees. This incident happened due to mismanagement of police and the officials will conduct an inquiry into this and take serious action ” he said to reporter
Chief Minister N Chandra Babu Naidu said that the ” I am monitoring the situation and guided the officials to take relief measures for injured persons “
Initially the arrangements was made by J Syamala Rao , Executive Officer ( EO ) , The temple authorities had made arrangements and deployed police personnel of 1200 across Tirupati and 1800 police in Tirumala
